On the last outposts
of the Cévennes region, at the foot of the black mountain,
in Cabardès land, you will find on the top of a rocky
outcrop the typical village of Aragon. It is here, where there
used to be a sheepfold, that the restaurant reminding one of
the place’s past is hidden.
Now this “bergerie”
is not really typical, it is even rather surprising, mostly
through its cuisine, an inventive and dynamic one, and also
through the décor, warm yet not too crowded. This is
really an enchanting place for all nature-and history-lovers.
You will most certainly enjoy the attentive service and warm
welcome offered by Priscilla. She welcomes you into her luminous
establishment and to its very sober décor.
Who would
not be tempted to stay a little while longer to enjoy a stay
in one of the eight rooms with a view out to the countryside
and the vineyards?
Fabien invites you to discover a cuisine where several different
influences meet… This young and talented Chef learnt his art
in various European countries, like Norway for example, or Great
Britain, and he has really managed to make the best of his experience,
making the foreign flavours his own!
He is now back to his region of origin and offers very advanced
dishes, inspired by a rich country side, concentrating first
and foremost on products of an exceptional quality that he will
work on with his own special tool: talent!
To go with his creations,
Priscilla will share her sommelier’s knowledge with you and
help you choose from an impressive wine menu.
Between hillsides and vineyards, let yourself be charmed by
a menu full of unusual flavours, in the heart of a place that
is oh so special…
