The Menuires resort is part of the 3 Vallées area, the biggest ski slope area in the world. Not only are the ski runs adapted to all skier levels and all needs, but skiers also enjoy up-to-date equipment and well-maintained ski runs. Perhaps the resort's only weak point is the rather austere architecture of certain neighbourhoods. However, skiers can enjoy numerous après-ski activities and trendy parties. Green ski slope for Learners. These are usually not marked trails, but tend to be large open, gently sloping areas at the base of the ski area.  5 slopes Blue ski slope are Easy. Similar to the North American Green Circle, and are almost always groomed, or on so shallow a slope as not to need it  30 slopes Red ski slopes are Intermediate. Steeper, or narrower than a blue slope, these are usually groomed, unless the narrowness of the trail prohibits it  29 slopes Black ski slopes are Difficult. Steep, may or may not be groomed, or may be groomed for mogul. It is worth noting that 'Black' can be a very wide classification, ranging from a slope marginally more difficult than a 'Red' to an icy mogulfield  7 slopes
