Situated at an altitude of 1,650 metres on a plateau between Beaufortain and Val d'Arly, the resort of Les Saisies offers a splendid location and an incomparable view of Mont Blanc. Alpine skiers may quickly exhaust the limits of this domain, but Franck Piccard's resort is a gateway to a veritable paradise for cross-country skiers.

Les Saisies :  slopes ( km + 80 km Cross-country skiing )
Green ski slope for Learners. These are usually not marked trails, but tend to be large open, gently sloping areas at the base of the ski area.  slopes Blue ski slope are Easy. Similar to the North American Green Circle, and are almost always groomed, or on so shallow a slope as not to need it  slopes Red ski slopes are Intermediate. Steeper, or narrower than a blue slope, these are usually groomed, unless the narrowness of the trail prohibits it  slopes Black ski slopes are Difficult. Steep, may or may not be groomed, or may be groomed for mogul. It is worth noting that 'Black' can be a very wide classification, ranging from a slope marginally more difficult than a 'Red' to an icy mogulfield  slopes
