Modern and Friendly TGV Train Stations
To welcome around 12 million
travelers a year expected with the TGV EST EUROPEEN, 17 stations
will be seriously improved and three new stations will be built to
propose modern stations (totally renovated environment, quicker
information and sales services, WIFI technology available in
station…), friendly (opening of shops, set up of clearer signage…)
and easily accessible by several means of transport.
Three New Stations for direct Inter-region Connections

Champagne-Ardenne TGV station will
be located 5 km from Reims.

It will ensure a direct connection
by TGV to Paris (Paris Est Station) TGV stations in
Ile-de-France (Charles-de-Gaulle TGV Airport,
Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy TGV and MassyTGV) and cities
like Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, Lille or Strasbourg and
Lorraine TGV station.

Meuse TGV station will be located 1
km from the Voie Sacree, .

About 30 kilometers from Verdun and
Bar-le-Duc, it will ensure a direct connection by TGV to
Paris.
TGV stations in Ile-de-France (Marne-la-Valle-Chessy TGV and
Massy TGV), Bordeaux or Strasbourg.

Lorraine TGV station will be
located 27 km from Metz and 37 km from Nancy.

It will ensure a direct connection by TGV
to Paris (Paris Est Station), TGV stations in Ile-de-France
(Charles-de-Gaulle TGV Airport, Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy TGV
and Massy TGV)
and cities like Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, Lille, Strasbourg
or Frankfurt. |
Stations serving clients
In each of these stations
served by the future TGV EST EUROPEEN, easy access, comfort,
friendliness will be developed. Clients will access or leave easily
their trains, by public transport, TER, taxi or individual vehicles
thanks to relevant connections and specific facilities around the
stations (parking, signage in town…).
Once in the station, the customers will quickly find their TGV,
spotting easily the platforms and helped as will by dedicated TGV
zones installed in large stations.
Besides this, customers will enjoy their time more in the stations,
with a friendlier environment and the set up of “new generation”
services. New and varied shops; new sales spaces with reinforced
reception, friendlier waiting, better access for handicapped people,
