Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is the major hub airport to the north-east of Paris. There are three terminals:
Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (which is subdivided into 2A through 2G), and Terminal 3 (formerly T9). Terminal 2G which is a separate building and is only reachable via navette/bus in 10-15min .
The free CDGVAL shuttle train connects the terminals together.
By train: The airport is 14 miles from the heart of Paris. RER trains – an express Metro service – run to the city every 15-minutes or so. The journey takes around 35 minutes. Take Line B from Charles de Gaulle TGV station at Terminal 2 towards Gare de Nord and Metro connections.
– Buses run every 10 minutes between Place Charles de Gaulle and Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminals 1 and 2. Approx journey time: 40 minutes.
– Services run every 30 minutes between 07:00-21:30 and Montparnasse. This journey takes about 50 minutes.
– Roissybuses serve all three terminals from the Opéra district of central Paris every 15 minutes between 6:00 am and 10:30 pm. Approx journey time: 45 minutes.
By taxi: A taxi between central Paris and the airport takes about 45 minutes. Chauffeur-driven limousines are available for hire between the airport and central Paris.
Manual luggage consignment:
All items are subject to security checks, including X-ray screening and random hand searches. Please note, for security reasons there are no lockers for storing luggage at the airport.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 airport, you can securely deposit your baggage at the central lockers located at the CDGVAL station’s exit, near the RER train station. This service is available 7 days a week, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

An HSBC bank with cash point machines is on level 4 of the station building.
There are several currency exchanges within the airport terminals.
Passengers with mobility issues should contact the ‘Access Plus Service’ 30 minutes before departure.
